Fashion Show: Fashion Show is an exciting and entertaining event for both the community and students to enjoy! The College Royal Fashion Show isn't just any fashion show though, there's dancing, laughing and Value Village wardrobes. Overall, it's just a heck of a good show.  Come cheer on your fellow students as they strut their stuff and shake their "thangs" to the music in support of College Royal and local business.  If you'd like to be in the Fashion show sign ups will be held in the University Centre during October, for more information just send us an email.  Fashion Show will take place March 9, 2012.

Good news for all our furry-faced friends! Rather than see last year’s Special Event return to College Royal history, we will once again be running the Beard Growing Competition! For all you guys who’d like to stay a bit warmer this winter, head to the U.C. for Sign-Up Days on January 24th and 25th to register. Beginning February 9th, participants will show up in the College Royal Office to have their clean shaven visages photographed, and then get to work growing a fabulous beard. On March 9th participants’ beards will be judged in multiple categories at College Royal Fashion Show, just in time to shave for College Royal Ball the next day!

NEW! We are planning on returning a past College Royal event for the first time. The Trouser Patching Competition puts your sewing and mending skills to the test. The competition will consist of a team of two. One team member will sit on a chair and patch up a hole in the other teammate trousers. This event should be exciting and highly entertaining to watch during the intermission of the fashion show on March 9th, 2012.  The team’s patching job will be judged in several different categories like best sewing job, fastest time, etc.  For all, who would like to come and compete in the newest College Royal Event, head down to the UC Courtyard on Jan. 24 and 25 to sign-up.  The participation fee for this new event is only $10 per team of two students.
