Sit! Stay! Come to the College Royal Dog Show! You'll be head over heels for this year's Dog Show! After a few weeks of training, our student handlers and dogs from the community are ready to show off their skills in the ring! The student-dog teams will be judged on skill, team-work, performance and attitude in the four dog categories of beginner, novice, intermediate, and advanced. |

- Dog owners from the community.
- University of Guelph students who do not own a dog.
- University of Guelph student dog owners.

Are you a dog owner from the community?
Dog owners from around the Guelph area can sign up their dog(s) for the College Royal Dog Show. You can register your dog(s) for the show by filling out a dog show entry form.
Dog Classes
Leading up to the show, your dog(s) will participate in weekly obedience classes held on campus in the Clinical Skills Building. Classes will start the first week of January. Your dog(s) don't need any experience with obedience training, we have classes ranging from pre-beginner to beginner to advanced. There's a class for every dog. During these classes, the dogs will learn obedience skills and tricks depending on the class level.
Who will show my dog?
Your dog will be paired up with a University of Guelph student with similar show experience as your dog. The student will work with your dog in the weekly training session and show your dog on the day of the show.
Cost of the Dog Show
Entry fees for Dog Owners is $50, which is due at the first training session in January.

University of Guelph students can participate in the dog show by being a dog show handler. You can sign up for the show at Fall Sign up Days.
